This is the journal of a boygirl/girlboy/androgyne who lived for twenty-three years in fear of xemself. In xyr twenty-fourth year, xe had an awakening. For a while, only xyr friends knew about xyr epiphany, but xe soon found that wasn't enough. Xe knew there were others out there like xemself, in different stages of their journeys; some of them still live in fear of themselves, others are teetering toward acceptance, still more have found they are comfortable. This is for all of those people.
However, it is also for those who do not identify as being like this Scarlet Pearl, for those who have learned to fear xyr and those like xyr. Xe wants to be honest, to be open, to be real and to invite honest, open, and real dialogue in the hope of peace.
All comments to this journal are automatically screened to protect people's privacy. If you would like for your comment to be unscreened in order to invite dialogue from other passers-by, simply put "ok to unscreen" at the beginning or end of your comment.
There is only one rule here, and that is to be kind. If anyone engages in any sort of slurs or hate speech, that person will be reported to LiveJournal Abuse. Even if you comment anonymously, your IP address will be recorded. Vulnerability is not an invitation to violence.
